Dear Friends and Visitors . . .

Thank you for visiting the web site of Wicomico Presbyterian Church. We are a part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and very proud of our heritage and history. For nearly 330 years, we have been serving our Lord Jesus Christ and meeting the needs of our brothers and sisters in this area and the world.

We are a group of people who love each other and our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a church family, please visit us. I think you'll find us to be a genuinely welcoming congregation.  Whoever you are and wherever you come from, you will find an acceptance here that will be very special.  Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you'll find a place with us.

Our church is big enough to have some special programs - such as our superb choirs, Women's Circles, and Wonderful Wednesday events - but small enough for everyone to find a place in our church family. We work together harmoniously to fulfill our mission, which is to call all to Christ-like maturity and to equip them to effectively serve the Lord in the Church and in the world. We will accomplish this by proclaiming the word of God as set forth in the Scriptures; by loving God through obedience to the Scriptures as they are revealed to us in worship, study and prayer; and by showing God's love to all.

We invite you to our worship service, and I welcome the opportunity to talk to you personally.

Pastor

School Supply Drive for Chipman Elementary
It's that time of year again when members and friends of WPC collect school supplies for children in our partner school, Chipman Elementary on Lake Street in Salisbury. Many of the pre-K through 2nd grade children at Chipman come from families who struggle to provide the necessary school supplies for their children. Please bring your donations of school supplies to the church lobby. A supply list can be found at http://www.wcboe.org/common/pages/DisplayFile.aspx?itemId=3790826 or by contacting the church office. School starts on August 25th, so please bring your donations before that date.

Help for the Hungry
WPC maintains an ongoing food drive to assist our neighbors who are in need of help. Bring your donations of cereals, peanut butter, jelly, or canned or boxed foods to the wooden collection chest in the lobby. The Deacons coordinate delivery of the food to the Lazarus Food Pantry.
